Mandy McIntosh is a visual artist who works across disciplines mainly in the public domain. Her fashion textile background informs the odd look of cinematic works which tell true stories. In February 2013, she produced thermal space suits for Galloway Dark Sky Park and an album of cosmological music with Kaffe Matthews.

Her collaboration with Kaffe Matthews and Zeena Parkins won a BAFTA for best interactive media in 2004. Her work has been screened and shown throughout Europe, Australia, North America, Canada and Brazil. A unique hybrid practice which encompasses animation, visual art, fashion, architecture, 2D and 3D design, craft and writing.
