AnimateTV

From 2007 to 2009, Animate Projects commissioned three slates of short films for Arts Council England and Channel 4. For each slate we produced an hour long programme that featured interviews with the artists, for broadcast on Channel 4 television.

Many of these films have won awards internationally including: KLIK! Design Award, KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival 2009 for The Black Dog’s Progress by Stephen Irwin; the Nature Scientific Merit Award, Imagine Science Film Festival 2009, New York for Magnetic Movie by Semiconductor; Main Prize, Tampere Film Festival 2008 for The Life Size Zoetrope by Mark Simon Hewis; and Best Animation Film, Tehran International Short Film Festival 2008 for Tongue of the Hidden by David Alexander Anderson.
