Accelerate Sessions: call for curators

Our Accelerate Sessions bring together animation artists, producers and curators, in conversation about aspects of contemporary animation practice. They often feature artists from our projects, but we also work with curators, artists or partners to put together sessions that explore particular themes.

We’re currently planning sessions for 2025 – 2026, and invite expressions of interest from anyone interested in working with us on a session. We can offer £400 for curation and chairing, plus £150 per speaker for up to four speakers. We will also provide BSL interpretation and captioning.

The sessions are presented as live, one hour long, webinars on Zoom, that are recorded and then posted to Vimeo indefinitely. All content needs to be cleared for this use.

• Please outline of your idea (theme, potential speakers, audience, intended impact) – no more than 200 words, or alternatively give us a link to a video (maximum two minutes).
• Please summarise your relevant biography including event organisation and speaking experience (no more than 100 words).
• Please provide a link or links (no more than three) to relevant examples of your work.
