Out of Nowhere
Our weather is getting angrier. Everywhere.
By protecting nature we protect ourselves.
What happens when we fail to do this?
Out of Nowhere is a VR experience that gently explores how preserving alluvial forests, marshes and wetlands can help us face the challenges of an ever angrier, unpredictable climate.
Told through the eyes of Anna, a lifelong resident of Hallein in Austria, the experience flows from a personal memory of the devastating floods that hit Europe in 2021 to reveal how reconnecting with nature may be key to protecting ourselves going forward. As we’re immersed in Anna’s story, we are reminded of the fragile balance between our need to shape the world around us and the urgency to preserve natural ecosystems.
