Joining the National Portfolio

We are pleased to announce that from 1 April 2023, Animate Projects will become an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation – with Arts Council England providing support for our commissioning, production and exhibition programme over the next three years.

Peter Knott, Area Director for Arts Council England said: “By inspiring and empowering communities through transformational digital experiences, Animate Projects work at the intersection of film, art and animation. We’re delighted to be welcoming them to the portfolio and look forward to seeing them continue to engage people across the Midlands and beyond.”
